About Amit
Amit Kothari is Co-founder and CEO of Tallyfy, an AI-native workflow automation platform he has been building since 2014. He is a sitting CEO who writes code and runs most of Tallyfy's operations with AI every day, not a consultant who read about AI in a magazine. The work is concrete: helping CEOs of mid-size companies (50 to 3,000 employees) who are personally using ChatGPT daily but cannot scale it to their teams. Companies in manufacturing, packaging, logistics, professional services, and other industries that do not have a sitting AI team.
He is also Entrepreneur in Residence at Washington University's Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Faculty at OneDay (a Woolf college), Partner at Blue Sheen with co-founder Pravina Pindoria, and Partner at BrightKite.ai (early stage, stealth mode). Before Tallyfy he spent a decade in technology in London after graduating from the University of Bath with a BSc in Computer Science (2000 to 2004). Tallyfy moved from London to St. Louis after winning an Arch Grant in 2015.
Amit also wrote a book of poetry, has deep intuition for UI/UX, and likes watching American robins. Originally British. Now lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
